The Radverkehrsatlas is an open-access online tool developed by FixMyCity, a Berlin-based civic tech company, that provides comprehensive data on cycling infrastructure in German cities and municipalities. The platform aggregates and visualises geodata from OpenStreetMap and other open sources, enabling users to explore existing cycling infrastructure through interactive maps displaying bike paths, lanes, protected lanes, bike streets, and sections without cycling infrastructure. Beyond mapping presence, the Atlas evaluates infrastructure quality based on path width relative to ERA guidelines, surface condition, separation from motor traffic, lighting availability, and speed of adjacent traffic.
